VIGÍA GRAN AÑEJO RUM

The Cuban rum as it is known today emerged in the first half of the XIX century; from this heritage was born rum Vigia taking his name from the residence of Ernest M. Hemingway in San Francisco de Paula, Havana and as other emblem a coat of the emblematic writer who knew how to appreciate the virtues of Cuban rum.

This is an old with a taste of genuine Cuban rum made with honey and sugar cane aged in selected white oak, with unique bouquet and presence, for the most demanding tastes.

Its qualities are guaranteed by a strict system of quality, a limited production, numbered bottles per year and diligently cared by lovers of the excellence.

Organoleptic features:

  • Smell and Taste: Characteristic of the quality degree and alcohol content declared in the label, well-balanced, exempt of strange smells and tastes.
  • Aspect: Light, grumbled, particles in suspension and exempt of sediments.
  • Color: ± 0.6 optical density units

Physical and chemical specifications

  • Percentage of alcohol by volume at 15°C: 40 Gay Lussac degrees
  • Total Acid: 120g of acetic acid per 100 L of absolute alcohol.
  • Ésteres content: 30g of ethyl acetate per 100L of absolute alcohol.
  • Content of first-alcohols: 130g of first-class alcohol per 100L of absolute alcohol.
